What can you do with the intellectual property rights?
Intangible assets, like physical objects, can be transferred to another person temporarily or permanently. They can also be pledged as security for any obligations. Among the methods of disposing of intellectual property rights (trademark, patent, work, technology, etc.), the following can be distinguished:
• transfer of rights (sale)
• registration of a license (licensing or, more simply, lease)
• registration of a franchise for a set of objects and technologies, including a trademark (franchise or commercial concession)
• giving in pledge to a third party (pledge)

NOTE:
If you want to dispose of the rights to objects that are registered with Rospatent (trademark, invention, utility model, industrial design, computer program), then such a disposition must also be registered. Without registration, such actions as, for example, granting a license for a trademark or selling rights to a patent will be considered invalid.
